The Bighorns earned two more wins after a weekend on the road playing the Sheridan Hawks.
Friday’s game had Sheridan with the first goal on the board, and a tie game throughout most of night, keeping Helena on their toes, and fighting for that win. It ended in Helena’s favor when they pulled through with a 4-2 game ending, and goaltender Malik Johnson saving 14 of the 16 shots against him in net. Goals for the Bighorns were scored by Camden Cunningham (Garrett Bogan, Tim Mattingly), Gavin Barr (Hudson Fisher, Mason Eggen), Finn Theriault (Trey Pajera, Tim Mattingly), and Trey Pajera (Jakob Losch, Nexon Hiebert).
Saturday night was a strong start for the Bighorns, and it paid off with an 8-1 victory for Helena, and Helena only allowing Sheridan 6 shots on net during the overall game, and Helena goaltender Gabe Swanson stopping 5 of those 6 shots against him. Goals for Helena were scored by Jason Hammett (Joe Feamster, Ty Moore), Jack Lambert (Ty Moore, Kelton Chadwick), Garrett Bogan (Dylan Cunningham, Tim Mattingly), Ty Moore (Jason Hammett, Jack Lambert), and a hat trick for Braden Cunningham (Camden Cunningham, Jason Hammett, Jack Lambert, Camden Cunnigham, Gavin Barr).
