It was an exciting last game of the NA3HL showcase between the Helena Bighorns and the Louisiana Drillers. The Drillers started out on top leading 2-0, but the Bighorns came back to tie it up, then scoring another goal, taking a 3-2 lead. With only a few of minutes left in the third period, the Drillers snuck one past Helena’s goalie, Tyler Miller, putting the game into overtime, and Louisiana ended up taking the game win with a 4-3 victory over the Bighorns. Goals for Helena were scored by Trey Pareja (Austin Uecker, Kelton Chadwick), Trey Pareja (Owen Gruener, Kade Pareja), and Austin Uecker (Chase Berg, Finn Theriault). Tyler Miller was able to stop 36 of the 40 shots on his net.
The Bighorns will now head home for the Christmas holiday and will be back in Helena to face the Badlands Sabres January 3rd and 4th.
