The Steve Johnston memorial scholarship was created in the Spring of 2024 by Steve’s family who wanted to continue his legacy and love for the Helena Bighorns. They created this scholarship in hopes to provide opportunities to future Bighorns players that may need financial assistance, and to give them the ability to play without any financial hardship. Each year before the season kicks off, a player will be chosen by Steve’s family and will be anonymously awarded this scholarship.
